Hooray! I won an auction on Ebay for my very own Rastan arcade game!!!
Yes that's right kids, I own one of the best games to own in its virginized state. I've owned this daddy since (7/31/00) (see The Latest for story).
Everything is in excellent condition; responsive controls, clean casing, glossy stickers, glowing marquee, booming sound. Geez I sure wish I could figure out how to turn down the sound, boy is the volume ever loud . . . did I already say that?
The only bad thing is that I have to plug it in the wall for it to work. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?!

Aha. Here it is, this is the Rastan arcade game I own. These pictures were taken by the previous owner when he was selling it. I'll get some original pictures of it as soon as possible now that it's in my posession! Bwahahahah!!! (add reverb, fade)
This is where one would spend most of their time with the game (except for me, I kind of like to lay down and curl up next to it near the back). If you look close enough you'll notice that there is attack and jump buttons on both sides of the joystick. I've only tested the buttons on the right and they'll get the most use I'm sure but the other buttons work just as good when i'm sitting on the top of the unit, playing upside down. |
A sight to behold! Here it is from the front!

Hmmmmm. . .
When I went to pick the game up I noticed something different about it that wasn't in these pictures. It had a "SOLD" sign on it.
You can also put money in that there confounded-money-taking-contraption. Not just everyday ordinary money mind you but quarters. More than one even. You heard it here first.

Here is its right! Notice how all the other arcade games move back and out of the way when this game marches down the warehouse. Its intimidating I say!

Ohhhhh. . .
Looking at the monitor from each of the pictures, one would probably think that this is a text adventure.
That red ball like thing laying on the controls is a clown nose. Not a real one though, just the soft plush kind you stick over your own nose. Regardless, I think it symbolizes "fun". As in; "this here Rastan arcade game is 'fun' kinda like going to the circus and seeing them clowns kinda'fun'".

Here is its left! Wow! It's just like the right but its the left instead. Wilikers!
